Simple Strawberry Ice Cream
One of my summertime goals this year was to make ice cream. This weekend I finally tried this simple three-ingredient recipe and the ice cream was absolutely divine! Now I wonder why I waited so long to try this!!
Ingredients
- Two cups (16 ounces) heavy whipping cream
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 pound fresh strawberries
Steps
- In a bowl, wash, chop and mash fresh or thawed strawberries.
- In another bowl, combine the heavy cream and sweetened condensed milk. You can use an electric mixer or whisk to whip the ingredients until they are thoroughly combined.
- Add the strawberries to the cream mixture and fold until combined.
- Pour the ice cream into a freezer container and freeze for 5 hours.
