Winter Garden

This year I have a winter garden! For the last few years, I've had a summer vegetable garden and last summer I wrote a post about my tomato garden, but I've never had a winter garden until this year. With the help of the winter rains, I now have a small harvest of red mustard greens that grew from the seedlings of my neighbor's garden.  My potted herbs include parsley, oregano, basil and the rosemary is blooming with little purple flowers.  And the avocado tree is flowering with hundreds of little avocado buds.
