The enchanting La Posada🌻was built in 1930 on twelve acres of Arizona desert along the Santa Fe Railway and Route 66. It was the last great railway hotel built by Fred Harvey and architect Mary Jane Colter for the Santa Fe Railway.
Today it is part of the La Posada Historic District in Winslow, Arizona, which includes both the La Posada Hotel & Gardens and the adjacent Winslow Santa Fe Train Station. It has been beautifully restored and maintained by the current owners, Allan Affeldt and Tina Mion.
We journey back here every year to visit the enchanting La Posada. 🌻
